Engelkeller in Memmingen

Despite the Covid19 lockdown, the hotel is open to business travelers like me. Was the only guest here in a very well-kept and very clean house! The hygiene measures are omnipresent and numerous. The room was in 100% perfect condition, also very clean and furnished in a stylish, high standard. I seriously ask myself why the hotel / restaurant industry has to suffer so much. That is not fair and, in my opinion, incomprehensible. Despite the unfortunate situation, the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful - kudos! The food "to go", which I was allowed / had to enjoy in the room, was excellent! Kudos to the kitchen too! I wish the Engelkeller only the best and stamina! The best restaurant in Memmingen. eat 👍👍👍👍👍, cleanliness 👍👍👍👍👍, service 👍👍👍👍👍. All very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We felt very, very comfortable. Will definitely be back. Wish that you get through this difficult time of the pandemic. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Until then, stay healthy.

We only visited the restaurant: the food was good, tasty and a little bit above average - which is not a given. The roast consisted of tender meat, excellent Kässpätzle, fine sauce and crisps made from purple potatoes: it fits! The corn poulard with stewed vegetables, homemade mashed potatoes and purple chips: good too. As I said, no top cuisine, but good. We would go again.

Good location and good kitchen.

Engelkeller is a perfect hotel. Good rooms, a spacious breakfast area and a garden area where dinner is possible when the weather is all right. The personnel is attentative and friendly. The covid19 measures are taken in a way that the impact for you as aguest is minimal, but safety is ensured. Oh yes, the restaurant won’t dissapoint!

Unstable internet and weak connection, bed feels worn out. The hot water in the shower is not reliable, sometimes cold sometimes warm. Priced fairly high up. Room is small.

I had a large room with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. Everything was very clean. The breakfast offers a good selection, special requests are met by the nice, competent staff. The hotel has its own large free car park.

Very nice inn, good food (provided the right cook is there, apparently there are several. One tastes good and another does not). The beer garden is fantastic and the staff polite and very friendly. Gladly again

Great hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms, nice staff and delicious breakfast. It is very close to the center, where the Christmas market is.

Great little hotel with very good kitchen! The food is really tasty. In the beer garden you can sit comfortably. The rooms are comfortable and clean. All staff were very friendly. Only the breakfast could have been more varied. Nevertheless highly recommended!

Staff is very friendly, spacious room. We enjoyed the local dishes and wine that is served at the restaurant, vegetarian options, excellent breakfast, close to the center, quiet location, free parking.

Rooms are nice, but quarters are a little more cramped than expected. Some rooms have decent bathtubs, though, which is nice after a long day of walking around the area. Breakfast is lovely. They have a server come and take your egg and breakfast beverage order when you walk in. Very fresh.

Good service. Good food. Rather high prices, but not unreasonable.

Modern comfortable room, bath and bed. Felt right at home. Would have liked air conditioning, but not a big issue as windows open for fresh air and at night street traffic quiets down. The beer garden and the food are wonderful and justifies a visit. Next time we are in town, we will go back to Engelkeller Eingang.
